Shiv Khori lies in the Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir. Ransoo is the base camp of Shiv Khori. It is about 80 Kms one way from Katra. During the trekking pilgrims used to enchant Bham Bham Bhole or Jai Bhole Ki. You can either take pony or palanquin to reach the holy cave. This holy cave is 100 mtrs long ending into a huge hall and houses a 4 foot high Swayambhu Lingam, which constantly bathes in a milky limestone fluid dripping from a tiny stalactite jetting down from the ceiling. Khori means cave (Guffa) and Shiv Khori thus denotes Shiva’s cave. The faith is that the cave of Shiv Khori is connects to the cave of Baba Amarnath Ji in Kashmir.
