On arrival you will be picked up from Srinagar Airport and taken by road to Pahalgam (94 kms/2.5 hrs) Valley of Shepherds. Also visit Avantipura Ruins and Anantnag Sulpher Springs en-route. Enjoy the bounty of Nature at Pahalgam, located on the bank of beautiful Lidder River, it is a valley of shepherds. Check in. Rest of the time is free at leisure.
Pahalgam is famous for its natural beauty and trout fishing. Tour to Aru valley, Betab Valley and Chandanwari by car at your own cost may be taken to engage the day. Aru is small village, 11 kms upstream the Lidder River, is a beautiful locality. Later proceed to Srinagar in the evening. Stay overnight at pre-booked accommodation.
Please Note: Cost of the sightseeing at Pahalgam need to be paid as per actuals directly and is not included in the package. One has to hire the vehicle associated with Pahalgam’s Tourist Transport Union only.
Morning after breakfast, proceed for day excursion to Gulmarg - Meadow of Flowers (57 Kms / 1.30 hours) situated at an altitude of 2730 meters, full day at leisure to take the leisurely walks on the lush green meadows. You may enjoy pony ride (payable directly as per actuals) or Gondola ride (rope way) to Khillanmarg at your own cost – need to be pre booked online. Stay overnight at pre-booked accommodation.
Please note: If there is snow en-route, our vehicle will drop you at Tanmarg. Guest need to hire separate vehicle from Tanmarg to Gulmarg and back to Tanmarg at an extra cost, payable directly as per actual.
After breakfast proceed for excursion to Sonamarg. The mountains around Sonamarg (84 kms/2 ½ hours) are covered with several glaciers, one of the most famous being the Thajiswas Glacier. This scenic river of ice is set amidst lush meadows and foliage and is a three-km walk or pony ride (payable directly as per actuals). Stay overnight at pre-booked accommodation in Srinagar.
After breakfast, proceed to visit Mughal gardens built by Emperor Jehangir. Visit Shalimar Bagh & Nishat Bagh followed by Shankra Charya Temple. Rest of the time is free at leisure. Stay overnight pre-booked accommodation.
Check-out from the hotel / houseboat and transfer to Srinagar airport for your onward journey.
