Puri is a city on the coast of the Bay of Bengal in the state of Odisha, India. Puri is one of the Char Dham of India. It is also popular as Shri Jagannath Dham because of the presence of the 12th century Jagannath Temple. There is a believe that if a person stays here for three nights, then he gets salvation from the cycle of life and death.
Puri, the holy city of Lord Jagannath (Lord of the whole universe), Subhadra and Balabhadra, one of the holy Char Dhams of the Hindus. It is perhaps the one place where you can enjoy pleasure of the sea along with religious places. Nilgiri, Niladri, Nilachal, Purushottam, Shankhakshetra, Srikshetra, Jagannath Dham, Jagannath Puri are other names of Puri for thousands of years. City is dominated by two superpowers, one created by God and the other created by man. Puri was originally an area ruled by Bhil rulers, Sardar Biswasu Bhil who had received the idol of Lord Jagannath centuries ago.

Arrival at Bhubaneswar Airport/ Railway station and drive directly to Puri. Reach Puri and check in to your pre-booked hotel. Post refreshment, visit to Lord Jagannath Temple - one of the four most sacred Hindu pilgrimage sites from Char Dhams. Post darshan and prayers drive to Satapada to look over the mesmerizingChilika Lake and its migratory birds (seasonal). One can opt for a motor boat ride (on own expense) in the Lake. Return back to Puri hotel for overnight stay.
Morning after breakfast, start for an excursion to Konark. Drive through the marine drive visiting the Ramachandi Temple and Chandrabhaga Beach on the way. Reach Konark and visit to one of the most majestic sites in entire Odisha the Chariot of the Sun God Temple. The Sun temple is known for its exquisite and intricate architecture and sculptures, it is a UNSECO World Heritage site. Return back to Puri hotel for overnight stay.
Morning after breakfast, enjoy an excursion trip to Raghurajpur - an artisans village with every house showcasing lavishly painted the age-old tradition paintings on canvas, skil (tassar) and other varieties like Pattachitra, papiermache, masks, stone idols, sculptures, wooden idols and toys. One can purchase these artifacts on direct payment basis. Later visit to Sakhigopal famous for Lord Krishna temple. Evening return back to Puri hotel for overnight stay.
After breakfast, check out and at time drive back to Bhubaneswar. Drop of at Airport or railway station for your onward journey.
